Coach Justin Fuente announced on a local radio show that quarterback Brayden Scott will be transferring. Scott, 6-foot-3 205 lbs, was part of the 2013 recruiting class.
With Paxton Lynch developing into a All-Conference type quarterback, Scott is on the outside looking in. Freshman Clay Holgorsen out preformed him during fall camp and you have gunslinger Brady Davis coming in this year, there's no doubt why Scott is looking elsewhere.
Sources tell me it was all about playing time for Scott. He's a competitor and wanted a chance to play. I'm told it was a difficult decision for Scott since he's so close to the coaching staff and the team.
