Vance Jackson announced via Twitter Tuesday afternoon that Memphis will be one of the three schools he will take an official visit to. "Scheduled 3 official Visits!! !! !! Cal, Memphis, UCONN," his feed read."

Jackson, a 6-foot-7, 205 pound wing, is rated as a 4-star player and ranked Number. 41 in Rivals Class of 2016.

He is considered to be a small forward with all of the offensive tools from the three-point shot to around the goal, and everything in between.

Ben Parker of Golden Bear Report spoke with Jackson and he described his game to them. "I can take bigs off the dribble and post up smaller guys."

California is probably considered the favorite for Jackson's services. They have recruited him the hardest and he has an excellent relationship with Cuonzo Martin and his coaching staff. Jackson has familiarity with UCONN, as he visited the campus during his sophomore season. But the Tigers beat out the likes of UCLA, Arizona, and Maryland to get into his top three, so Coach Pastner and staff have already covered more ground than many expected.

Tiger Sports Report is working on an interview with Jackson in the next few days, and will have more on the story then,
