This past weekend was a very successful one, as each Memphis commit who had a game was on the winning side of the ledger. There were also some monster performances that cannot be ignored.

Noah Barnes - The tight end had 2 receptions for 18 yards, but continued his stellar run blocking performance in a 28-14 upset victory over Montgomery Lee.

Sanchez Blake - It is highly unlikely that there has been a more thrilling game in America this year than the triple overtime thriller in which Olive Branch outlasted Desoto Central 87-86 (yes, that is not a typo). Despite the astronomical amount of points scored, Blake had a large impact defensively, netting 5 solo tackles and 11 assists for a total of 16 stops.

Jahod Booker - Booker had a huge game receiving. The speedy wideout had 8 receptions for 173 yards and three touchdowns. This is Booker's third game of the season with over 100 yards in catches since he came back from a shoulder injury early in the year. Park Crossing continued their winning ways with a 48-27 win over Montgomery Carver.

Sean Dykes - Manvel High School (TX) rolled again, defeating Dawson 49-31. Dykes once again put numbers on the scoreboard with a touchdown catch. He had 2 receptions for 36 yards on the night.

Jacobi Francis - Newton (GA) had an open date. They are 6-1 on the season and return to action tomorrow night versus Lovejoy.

Keon Howard - Laurel (MS) continued their winning ways in the second half of the season, thumping Wingfield 63-14. On the season, the three-star quarterback has completed 68 of 172 passes for 1,270 yards. His most impressive stat is his 16 touchdown passes against only 4 interceptions.

Jerrick Orr - Aberdeen (MS) posted a big 37-0 win over cross-county rival Hatley last weekend. The game was played in torrential rain, which included a one-hour delay in the first half in which both teams were sent back to their locker rooms. Orr was a critical factor before the downpour hit, catching four passes for 55 yards and a 16 yard touchdown on one drive. After the teams got back onto the field, Aberdeen was content to run the ball in the quagmire, rolling up over 400 yards on the ground.

Thomas Pickens - MUS was off this past Friday. The 5-2 Owls return to the field tomorrow night versus arch-rival Briarcrest Christian.

Jakavian Poydras - Poydras's line play was huge once again as Clarksville won a tight one over cross-town rival Clarksville Northeast 17-14.
