It's a new year and there's 2 new hires for the Memphis coaching staff.

Utah St. Safeties Coach Joe Lorig will be hired to coach the Special Teams/OLB's. Lorig worked with Coach Norvell at Arizona State.

Fresno State Secondary Coach Marcus Woodson will now coach the Tigers Corners. Woodson is an Ole Miss grad and went to Moss Point High in Mississippi. Fresno State went from 99th to 49th in the nation in pass defend this past year and had 9 interceptions.

As it stands now here's who's been hired and where they will coach

HC- Mike Norvell

OC- (Possibly Chip Long from ASU)

DC-

QB-

RB- Darrell Dickey (Retained)- I would think he’d still coach RB’s.

OL- Ryan Silverfield (NFL-Lions)

WR-

TE-

ST- Joe Lorig (Utah St.)

DL- Paul Randolph (ASU)

LB-

CB- Marcus Woodson (Fresno St.)

S-

Hired but not assigned a position coach yet (from what I know)

Dan Lanning (Alabama)

David Johnson (Tulane)

I've been told that Memphis DC Galen Scott will be headed to Virginia Tech.
