Is it past time to make a change at head coach? Currently, the Lady Tigers are 8-8 and on pace to finish another season near .500 under Coach McFerrin. This season they have lost to Lee University, Samford, Kansas, Arkansas, Nevada, Little Rock, Southern Illinois, Temple, and Tulsa. I don't think many people are paying attention, but her coaching record is significantly worse than Josh Pastner. In 9 years at Memphis, Coach McFerrin has NEVER been to the NCAA tournament and has only been to the WNIT 4 times (only advancing to 2nd rd once). Can we reach out and get an hot assistant like Jasmine Lister who is a former Vanderbilt player (honorable mention All-American player & All SEC player), former LA Sparks (WNBA), former graduate assistant at UConn (two national championships), and current assistant at University of Washington (16-2 record)! Jasmine has the experience, winning pedigree, and certainly couldn't be any worse than what we have now.
