Bryan, after loosing on Sunday in the conference tournament, the women's basketball season is over. Attention moves towards rebuilding. After watching several games this year, they need bigger players (ie guards) who can hit shots when open and shoot free throws. With the team loosing 6 players due to graduation, do you know who they could be recruiting? I was in Murfreesboro the past Saturday for the girls state championships, and here are a few players Coach Simmons and staff should be ACTIVE in recruiting:

Micah Hart (Gibson County HS) - 5'9" Guard. Class 2A state champion All State Tournament team, All State Tournament MVP, Multiple All state selection (3 times), Class 2A Ms Basketball Finalist. Finishes senior year as all time leading scorer in GCHS history. Senior year averages: 22 pts, 6 rebounds, 5 assist, 4 steals, 42% 3pt, 90% free throw.

2026:
Kimora Fields (Bradley Central HS) - 6'0" Forward Class 4A state champion (twice), State Tournament MVP. Class 4A Ms Basketball Finalist. Soph year averages: 24.3 pts, 7.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 blocks, 72% from FG, and already 1,000 point club. School ranked #23 in the nation this year.
