Malachi Henry shared his experiences visiting Memphis for the win over Mississippi State:
“When we got there, they had us sign in and go to the players’ lounge where we chilled out. The coaches came and spoke to us. I met their receivers’ coach, Coach (David) Glidden, and got his number. I really liked him. He was really nice and super chill. About an hour before the game, we went to the sidelines to watch them in pregame warmups and then we watched the game.”
Henry shared his thoughts on the Tigers’ style of play adding, “They are really fast. Playing against fast offenses, it is really hard to stop. I like that. Calvin Austin played out of his mind yesterday. That offense is really fun to watch.”
On the atmosphere of the game, Henry shared, “It was a big stadium. They had a good crowd and a good showing. They were loud and into it.”
